Redefining

Management

We're not simply representatives.
We're partners in building extraordinary careers.

Our Philosophy

Talent management isn't about booking the next job.

It's about building the next decade.

Old-school relationships.

Modern strategy.

Founded in 1990 by Cyd LeVin as Cyd LeVin & Associates, the company reopened in September 2010 and rebranded itself as CLA Partners in 2019. CLA Partners prides itself on using a mixture of old and new school approaches to developing, shaping and guiding the careers of artists at all stages of their careers.

At CLA Partners, every artist is more than a client; they are collaborators in a journey towards greatness. Whether in film, television, theater, or beyond, CLA Partners provides tailored solutions, strategic guidance, and unwavering support, ensuring that each client reaches their full potential.

Driven by passion, integrity, and an insatiable hunger for excellence, CLA Partners continues to redefine the landscape of entertainment talent management, forging enduring careers one artist at a time.

Cyd started her career in the 1980s at Don Buchwald & Associates and quickly made her mark on the industry. As both a talent and literary agent, she signed and worked with a who's who of actors, writers and directors.

With a desire to create her own version of talent representation, Cyd moved to Los Angeles in the 90s to open the first incarnation of CLA with a single client. Cyd's roster would then grow to include more than 150 actors across Film, Television and Broadway.

After 30+ years in the business, Cyd's achievements are undeniable: including taking an unknown kid and helping him to become the biggest name in television and producing films. Developing clients is an area of passion for Cyd, and she takes great pride in the many A-List actors who she had the joy of aiding at the starts of their careers. Seeing a young artist book their first major gig is still an unparalleled experience for her.

Of all her accomplishments though, the one she is proudest of, is partnering with Harold Lewter and re-defining the CLA Management Style. They have created a company that centers around equality and is open to all artists regardless of race, religion, nationality, sexual preference, or identity. It is this legacy and the CLA name that Cyd hopes will carry on into the future.

Harold Lewter

Innovate or Die. Continuous innovation is essential to long-term success — for artists and the industry alike.

Harold Lewter

Owner & Talent Manager

Harold Lewter's career has been defined by one guiding philosophy: "Innovate or Die." Whether developing artists, building careers, or creating new technology for the entertainment industry, Harold believes that continuous innovation is essential to long-term success.

The roots of Harold's career as a talent manager and development strategist began long before he entered the entertainment industry. As a junior tennis coach, he led teams to Metro, Regional, Sectional, and National championships, discovering an early passion for mentorship, leadership, and helping others unlock their full potential. That passion continued at the University at Buffalo, where mentor Maria S. Horne recognized his instinct for developing artists while he assistant directed Rebecca Gilman's Spinning Into Butter. During his senior year, Harold received the Promising Artist of the 21st Century Award and was selected to teach and perform in Costa Rica.

Harold began his career as a talent representative in 2009 as an intern at Independent Artists Agency, where he met his mentor and future business partner, Cyd LeVin. Following the agency's closure, the two reopened Cyd LeVin & Associates with a shared vision of helping stage actors successfully transition into television and film. Harold became a Partner in 2018, and in 2019 the company rebranded as CLA Partners to reflect that partnership. Today, his clients can be seen on Broadway and Off-Broadway, on National Tours, and throughout television, film, and streaming.

Known for his strategic thinking and collaborative approach, Harold works closely with clients to identify opportunities, navigate an ever-changing industry, and build careers with longevity in mind. He believes talent management is about more than securing the next job—it's about helping artists make thoughtful decisions that support sustainable, fulfilling careers.

Harold's passion for improving the way talent representatives work also led him to found TalentTeam Pro, a modern software platform built specifically for talent agencies and management companies. Created from his firsthand experience managing performers, the platform reflects his commitment to finding smarter, more efficient ways to support both artists and the professionals who represent them.

Whether advocating for a client, developing long-term career strategy, or building tools that strengthen the industry as a whole, Harold remains committed to helping artists realize their full potential while embracing the innovation that continues to shape the future of entertainment.
